Changes. For good.

If you’re ready for the hard work of personal transformation, understanding the “why” behind your patterns, and making changes that last – I can help.

I’m Sako Barbarian. Great therapist name, huh?

About me and my style.

I’m an approachable, direct, and action-oriented therapist.

I balance compassion with accountability to help clients create lasting change.

As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Licensed Addictions Counselor, I specialize in treating compulsive sexual behaviors, infidelity, pornography addiction, and substance use, and can incorporate co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

I help individuals break free from destructive relational patterns and the shame and secrecy that often accompany them.

My work focuses on uncovering the roots of these struggles, providing practical tools for recovery, and guiding clients in rebuilding trust and forming healthier connections.

With experience across inpatient rehab, intensive outpatient care, therapy intensives, and private practice, I draw on trauma-integrated care and addiction recovery strategies.

Clients learn to stop harmful patterns, heal underlying wounds, and show up differently in the relationships that matter most.

Rebuild trust

Sexual deceit and dishonesty deeply harm relationships. Rebuilding, though challenging, is essential. I can help navigate this complex yet ultimately rewarding recovery process - even when it seems hopeless.

How I can help

Replace patterns - don’t just try to stop them

I help clients break unhealthy behavior patterns and replace them with lasting, healthier habits, addressing all issues rather than just symptoms.

Mental Health Integration

Many with addictive and deceptive behaviors also face mental health issues like undiagnosed ADHD, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, anger problems, dyslexia, and narcissistic traits. Integrating these into care is essential, not secondary.

Address what’s underneath

Destructive patterns do not come out of nowhere, and thus uncovering and healing what’s at the root is vital for lasting change. If you wanna answer the “why?” questions, this is invaluable.

Services Offered

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore your behaviors, thoughts, and emotions with a supportive professional. Together, you can work through challenges, build skills, and gain deeper self-understanding to create meaningful change and greater well-being.

Personalized Intensives

Individualized intensives are typically multi-day, in-person sessions tailored to a personalized plan targeting addictive patterns, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and therapeutic disclosure preparation. These focused experiences allow for deeper, faster progress than traditional therapy sessions.

Group Therapy

Group therapy services offer guided sessions where people with similar issues share experiences and support each other under a therapist’s direction to promote healing and personal growth.
